Student Assistance Program

While the teachers and staff at Marshall High School are dedicated to promoting a positive learning environment, we also realize that our students face a variety of issues that are both school-related and non-school related. The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is designed to help students overcome these obstacles. Furthermore, SAP sponsors activities which benefit the entire student body including the following: a bBiennial Career/Student Development Day and an annual MHS Bowling Night following a home basketball game. Additionally, the SAP Team serves as administrator of the Wendall Wayne Murphy Scholarship, which is given annually to a graduating senior with academic promise and financial need.

The SAP Team meets bi-monthly to address student issues and plan events. We welcome any suggestions on ways to improve our work on behalf of our students.
