National Honor Society

The NHS is an organization whose purpose is to create and enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership and to encourage the development of character in the students of Marshall High School. To be eligible for membership a student must be a junior or senior in high school, have a 3.75 grade point average or better on a 4.0 scale, complete in a timely manner an information sheet on co-curricular activities, leadership positions, community activities, work experience, recognitions and awards. A faculty council will select the students for membership based on the criteria provided above and the information sheet.
