Students in Mrs. Sisson's 9th grade College English class wrote "Letters About Literature" during fall semester. The "Letters About Literature" is a state wide writing competition sponsored by the Illinois Secretary of State and State Librarian. The competition is open to all students 4th-12th grade. Ethan Rayhel was a finalist for the state in 9th-12th grade division. Ella Mattas, Addy Ross, Emma Smitley, and Simon Wood were semi-finalists. This is a huge accomplishment. Our students competed against hundreds of students from all around the state.
