
Thank you to Mr. Dave Maynard for making and installing our new Marshall Junior High sign. It replaces the original sign which will be given to Mr. Bob Carpenter who made it many years ago for our junior high school. We appreciate both of their dedication to Marshall Schools.

MJHS TOY DRIVE
We have until Friday, December 13 to bring in new Toys for Tots. We need 200 toys to duct tape Mr. Curry and Mr. Whitmore to a wall. Let’s do this! So far we have 4 toys and they don’t seem too worried. Most importantly, let’s help all local children have a Merry Christmas!


Marshall 7th grade Lady Lion Cubs defeated Paris Mayo tonight 28-26 to be crowned regional champions. They have now advanced to play in the sectional championship hosted by Toledo Cumberland on December 4 at 6:30pm. Go Lady Lion Cubs!!!!



Marshall 7th Grade Girls' Basketball team advances to the IESA Regional Championship after defeating St. Joseph 33-25 in tonight's semifinals.The Lady Lion Cubs will play tomorrow, Tues. Nov. 26, against Paris Mayo at 6:30pm at Mayo Middle School.

Marshall High School Graduation has been set for Friday, May 29, 7:00 p.m., at McNary Gym.

Marshall JHS students had the honor of listening to Army PFC Peyton Allen speak about his experiences in the Army National Guard and the career opportunities that it can provide. We would like to thank PFC Allen for his dedication to our school and our country.



7th grade Lady Lion Cubs become LEIC Tournament Champions defeating Paris Mayo 41-38. Great job to the players and coaches!!!!


7th Grade Lady Lion Cubs defeat #1 seed to advance to the LEIC Girls' Basketball Tournament Championship on Wednesday, October 30. The Lady Lion Cubs will face the winner of Jasper County/Paris Mayo. Go Lady Lion Cubs!!!!

Marshall 7th grade computer class has been learning about entrepreneurism. In past weeks they have worked in groups to develop their Shark Tank Projects. Today, each group presented to selected community members who sat in as our Shark Tank panel of judges. A big congratulations to our 7th grade Shark Tank winners and thanks to our judges!

Marshall 8th Grade Research to Careers students learn about dining etiquette with the assistance of area community members and U of I Extension instructor Tiffany Macke.


The Marshall Music Boosters Annual Pork Burger Drive-Thru is Friday, Oct. 11th, 4-7 p.m. in the parking lot in front of the high school office. A $7 meal includes a pork burger, chips, cookie, and a bottle of water. Extra pork burgers are $3.

Marshall Junior High students are focusing on three pillars to build their futures upon. They are working to be "VISIONARY people with INTEGRITY who will PERSEVERE".
