We have a book fair going on in our school library this week through next Monday at noon. We will be open daily from 8:00-3:30 and on Thursday evening during the ballgame from 6:00-8:00. We have books for middle schoolers as well as their younger siblings. You may also shop online using this link:

The boil order at the junior high and high school has been lifted. Thanks for your patience and cooperation.
The high school and junior high will be on a boil order again today. Students may bring water bottles to carry with them and we will have bottled water on hand for them as well.

Due to an unexpected circumstance in the Cumberland community, the Boys Basketball game at Cumberland for this evening has been cancelled. The home girls game vs Parkview is not affected by this. We will look at schedules and work to reschedule this game. There will not be practice.

They can be shipped to the individual for an additional cost or picked up here in Marshall when they are done. Congratulations to our Cross Country team on their 2nd Place finish at today's Sectional.Grace Thompson led the way finishing in 4th Place. The team consists of Liberty Cline, Grace Thompson, Lilly Ross, Libby Huisinga, Sophie Liu, Abby Rogers, and Caroline Crumrin. They will compete at the IESA State meet next weekend in Normal.
Our Research to Careers class visited Cloverfield Market to learn about starting and operating a local family business. It looks like they had a great time!
MJHS students were treated to a special guest today, Cyndee Shaffer, author of "Mollie's War." Cyndee told the story of her mother, Mollie Weinstein Shaffer, who joined the WAC during WW2. This story is part of the traveling Holocaust Exhibit, currently on display at the Marshall Public Library.
A special treat today for these 8th Grade students who met the weeklong goal of being prepared for every class, every day. Ice cream and fruit bars for the win!

The Lady Cubs Basketball opened the season tonight against Paris Crestwood. 7th Grade with an ipening night win 27-26! The Cubcadettes performed tonight and did a great job, as well!
The baseball team is in action today at home against Casey. Softball is on the road at Paris Mayo! Good luck to both teams.
