Mrs. Douglas' second grade class earned a party during their library class time this week. They had the most students go to the library to read and get their library cards, along with a backpack with goodies, including a free book.. The contest was held at the library from Oct. 1-31. It was kicked off by Jamie Poorman, Head Librarian at the Marshall Public Library. She visited each second grade class at the end of September to introduce the competition. The Marshall Public Library provided popcorn and lollipops for the winners. Mrs. Scott read a book called Pop.
